Volley Ball Tournament

We are excited to host our first ever VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT in Blackfalds May 25th!

Registration is $240 for your team of 6 and includes team shirts! 100% of the proceeds from this event will go right back to Saving Grace Animal Society.

*if you wish to play with more and rotate in it is $30 per additional player*

This is a FULL DAY tournament with a guaranteed 3 games. We will host 2 divisions - RECREATIONAL (no experience necessary) and REC COMPETITIVE (experienced but playing for fun)

This is a FUNDRAISING TOURNAMENT with a focus on FUN - friendly competition is welcome ! For more details on REC vs REC COMPETITIVE see the bottom of this post.

DIVISION DESCRIPTIONS

Recreational : This is for anyone with minimal or no experience. You love the game of volleyball and are here for fun. We won't see most players attacking the ball aggressively or blocking most plays. All skill levels welcome.

Rec Competitive: This is for teams with players who are experienced in the sport of volleyball but still here to have fun. We will see overhand serving, 3 hits most plays, aggressive attacks and blocking. For teams that are competitive but understand this is a fundraising tournament not a competitive volleyball league - sportsmanship a must.

We are looking for people to sign up on the Saving Grace Animal Society Team.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Video gamers may sign up for the event any time from December 1 2023 until February 16, 2024. Gamers will choose the rescue that they want to raise funds for and join the team - then they simply collect donations from friends and family who wish to support their marathon and secure funding for the animals under care of their favourite charity.

All video gamers must commit to play video games and stream their gameplay for a minimum of 12 hours starting at 9am-9pm on February 17, 2024. Keen gamers can continue the marathon for the full 24 hours, ending their stream at 9am on February 18, 2024. This is a virtual event and all game play is done from the comfort of your home.
