Goose's Story

Goose-then Leo, arrived in SGAS’s care as a tiny little baby along with his siblings. He would spend numerous weeks in foster, growing and becoming stronger. We are super thankful to the foster who step up to help us! The shelter is no place for a tiny 3 week old puppy.

Goose would be the last of his siblings to be adopted, but he was just waiting for the perfect family to come along!

Goose has really come into his personality and is a very silly boy. His ears never stood up so he still looks and acts like a puppy.

His family states that the last 3 years with Goose have been a blessing. Goose is very perceptive to his family’s mental health and will help calm them down. Animals are very aware of emotions, and some special dogs like Goose provide a calming presence whenever it is needed. His story showcases what a special bond people and pets can have!
