Cricket- then Gwen, when she first arrived at SGAS

Cricket arrived at Saving Grace at the beginning of June 2019. She was just a pup and found as a stray. After a couple weeks in foster Gwen would find herself a forever home and become a wonderful ambassador for rescue dogs everywhere. Read below to hear about her journey since adoption!

It all started with a photo that a friend sent me. There was something in those eyes and I knew this was the dog I've been waiting for. The moment I met her in person, I knew she was the perfect fit for our family. She's been proving it ever since!

Cricket (formerly Gwen) was rescued by Saving Grace in 2019. Today, she's a CKC Canine Good Neighbour certified, ferry-hopping, train-riding, Europe-exploring ambassador for everything rescue dogs can be. She is currently charming her way through Norway where we currently live. She has appointed herself the official greeter for cruise ship passengers and tourists alike.

People are surprised to learn she's a rescue dog that had a rough start to life. She is an ambassador for rescue dogs with her confidence, gentle nature and outgoing personality.
