Taco's Story
TT once found back in 2019
TT is a unique case as she was rescued not once- but twice by us. TT ( Taco Time) originally came to us in September of 2019 as a stray. She was lured with Taco Time- hence the name! TT would require a leg amputation and a bit of healing before going up for adoption. Once healed she would find herself adopted a month later in October. However, her story does not end there unfortunately. Taco would be picked up by Alberta Animal Services in February 2022. When multiple attempts at contacting her owner failed, TT found her way back to Saving Grace. Taco would go up for adoption again, this time, finding a home dedicated to her in March of 2022. Read below to hear about how wonderfully she is doing in her forever home!
Taco is definitely a trooper! Shes got the heart, resiliency and ability to adapt, having 3 legs and being adopted 2 times from Saving Grace. Bringing her home was a mix of calmness and excitement as she fit right in. It took her only a few days to become comfortable and find her safe spots and learning who was showing her unconditional love and affection. She has aged into this precious noodle who just loves cuddles and being near anyone who gives her attention. She has a love for older people with grey hair! We can be walking and she will see a senior lady across the street and just get so excited and sit pretty, wagging her tail trying to make eye contact with them so they will come say hi and pet her and that bring joy to them and I love seeing that. She is doing fantastic in her furever home and I am blessed to have her. I love her greying face!
