Levi's Story

Levi’s Arrival into Saving Grace’s Care

Levi came into Saving Grace’s care as a young 10 week old puppy suffering with puncture wounds at the end of February 2025 . He was a stray all alone on the streets and he would need immediate medical attention. Thanks to our friends at Central Vet we were able to get him in and started on his healing journey! Levi would be adopted for the first time a couple of months later after healing with us and getting back to his healthy self! Unfortunatly for Levi he would end up being returned 1 month after adoption. Levi would be adopted and returned one more time before finding his wonderful forever family in December of 2025. He finally found a family that was truly dedicated to providing Levi with his needs and supporting that drive of his. Someone that was wiling to work with him to become the best version of himself! Read below to hear from his family how he is doing in his home!

Levi is doing amazing, the first little bit there was a lot of figuring him out and what kinds of things he needs and the type of dog he is. He successfully completed Wagnlearn level 1, he loves playing fetch and tug, he makes friends both human and canine very easily wherever we go. I put him into weight pull class and he has successfully pulled 320 pounds! We’re currently working with dog sense to help him become the best version on himself. He’s a huge mamas boy, I joke if he could climb into my skin, he would lol

Check out Levi’s Weight Pull!

Dog weight pulling is a canine sport that utilizes a specialized harness that ensures safety by distributing the load across their dog’s chest and shoulders. It is excellent for building muscle, burning excess energy, and strengthening a dog’s bond with their human!
